At-risk students are students who are not experiencing success in school and are potential dropouts.         Los estudiantes en riesgo  son estudiantes que no han tenido éxito en la escuela y la deserción son posibles. They are usually low academic achievers who exhibit low self-esteem. Por lo general son de bajo rendimiento académico que muestran una baja autoestima. Family problems, drug addictions, pregnancies, and other problems prevent them from participating successfully in school.
